Are you locally owned?

Yes. David grew up in North Carolina and runs the company out of the Charlotte area with in-house crews. We are not a franchise, and we do not subcontract our work.

Do you serve both residential and commercial customers?

Yes, both. On the residential side we work in garages, basements, patios, pool decks, and driveways. On the commercial side we work in showrooms, retail spaces, restaurants, gyms, automotive shops, and light industrial facilities.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. David comes to the property in person, looks at the slab and the conditions, and gives you a quote built for your floor. There is no charge for the estimate.

What warranty do you offer?

Every residential flake install is backed by a 10-year delamination warranty, and David handles any warranty questions directly.

Meet the Owner

David founded D&D Concrete Coatings in 2020 after time on the installation side of the concrete coatings trade. Born and raised in North Carolina, David is the founder and owner, based in the Charlotte area.

David personally manages every D&D project from estimate through final topcoat. He walks the floor on every estimate, oversees the in-house crew during installation, and handles warranty claims directly. He is the single point of accountability on every job D&D installs.

The Mission

D&D Concrete Coatings exists because the concrete coatings trade has drifted from how the work is supposed to get done. The standard install today routes the customer through three different people: a sales rep who quotes, a subcontracted crew who installs, and a warranty contact who is unreachable when issues surface. The pattern is so common that most homeowners assume it is just how the trade works.

The mission of D&D is to do the work the other way. One person responsible from estimate to warranty. The same person. Every job.
